Our Product
The MBTA Route planner is a web application that helps users better understand and traverse the MBTA subway and commuter rail system.
We offer:
- A map of the entire MBTA system
- Up to date travel information on each station
- A route planner to help users plan commutes and trips around Boston
- An integrated chat bot for app and transit support.
Mission Statement
The MBTA's mission aligns with ours "to serve the public by providing safe, reliable, and accessible transportation." We do this by reducing uncertainty about train arrivals and delays with real-time updates making the MBTA more reliable and safer. We also highlight stations that are wheelchair friendly and optimizes travel routes to make Boston more accessible. Lastly our solution provides a modern approach that helps keep a old system current.

Our team is composed of 4 Wentworth computer science students that met in a software engineering class. We all had the common trouble of traveling around Boston using the MBTA. So we decided to use our academic and career experience to create a solution that makes the MBTA more accessible.
